Boredom was indeed the culprit:

Hey Chris, I'm not entirely sure why, but I got bored and decided to play around with a banner for your site. Don't know if you'll like it, but it's yours to use if ya do. :-)

I've been meaning to put it up for a while now, but it took me until now to sit down and learn enough HTML/CSS to do it.

Re: When all else fails, find a bigger hammer

Haha, I assumed that graphic was long lost... when did I do that? 6 months ago or something? And you're absolutely right... was just sitting around and wanted to play with photos... I live a sad little life (for a ninja).

Breaking and making sites can be a lot of fun. HTML Dog is a good start too. My #1 resource is Google though. Honestly, nothing answers my questions faster than that little monkey. It's great for looking up CSS properties. It, of course, just directs you to another site, but still... fast and efficient.

Good luck man. I'm here if you've questions.

Re: When all else fails, find a bigger hammer

Looks excellent man.
And yes, Ryan is a ninja.

Re: When all else fails, find a bigger hammer

Well, mate, the new banner image is cool. And I'm noticing a few other small changes which are just as cool. Looking forward to the rest. And thanks for that link to HTMLDog, I've been wondering how these geeky types do their thing, and that may prove useful in the not-too-distant future.
